Bit-O-Honey is one of our more divisive offerings – you either love it or you hate it! We love it and have it! For the bulk product there are approximately 68 pieces per pound. And now you can enjoy the new Bit-O-Honey thins! Thin pieces that come in a 7.5oz bag. Try them both.
Bit-O-Honey was first made in 1924 by the Schutter-Johnson Company of Chicago. At the time, Bit-O-Honey was a new kind of candy bar consisting of six pieces of candy wrapped in wax paper and then packaged in a wrapper. In the1970s, a chocolate-flavored version called Bit-O-Chocolate was made, but this product was later dropped.
IMPORTANT! Here is what you need to know when you have to have a melt-able product and it is just plain hot out!
If you take the these precautions as follows:
- Ship to a valid business address where someone is there to receive the package on the first attempt and get it into a cool room.
- Purchase our ice pack protection, which is offered in the shopping cart page
... and if your candy STILL melts, we will provide a refund for the melted item. We will not reship these items. If you do not take these precautions we cannot assume any risk of melting and cannot issue a refund or product replacement.
To avoid melting on idle delivery trucks over the weekend, melt-able orders will not be shipped when the ETA includes transport over a weekend. If you are unsure of ground transit times please call us at 888-729-1960.
If you have any concerns please contact our Customer Service at (888) 729-1960.
The NEW THINS are Not like the old chewy candy I knew growing up. These are Un-wrapped, dry, thin ,crumbling wafers. I bought thinking they'd be the chew candy I remembered. I didn't notice the New part. Sorry, they are just not worth it.
I had an amazing experience with the Customer Service Department and would definitely recommend them. We are a non-profit and pinch every penny we can...they helped us do that. The Beekeepers thank you for making us the hit of the parade!!
We are one of the most popular entries in the parade every year because we hand out this delicious candy and people always stop by the Fair
booth to see if we have more!
These are so delicious and do NOT stick to your teeth! So glad they came out.
